What do you give a Witch for Yule/Christmas?

Face it, it's hard enough giving people the right gift, but when it comes to the Witch in your life you want to give them something magical. I've had many a friend ask me "What do you give a Witch?". Simple answer (crystals) anything she/he would like, just like anyone else. I promised no more lists, but Tis' the Season for lists so here we go. May it inspire your magical gift giving. Yes, I do have many of these thing on the website!

Gift ideas for the Magical People in your life:
1. Books on herbs, oils, brews and crystals. What ever their chosen path - Wicca, Hoodoo, Voodoo, Santeria, Natural, Green, Hedge . . . there's SO many, there is a book for it.
2. A beautiful journal. No matter what path, we all need to write down things. Most will turn it into a Book of Shadows. Don't forget a special pen - glass, quill, wooden. Something you wouldn't find at an office store.
3. Bottles. Okay, sounds funny, I know, but really - bottles. Cool ones. Antique ones. Colored, sparkly, gem encrusted, and magical. We love bottles.
4. Crystals! Don't know where to start? Look around their space. See what types they are drawn too. Don't know the names, that's okay. Are their crystals mostly palm stones? Small stones they carry with them? Huge and natural or more shapes and polished? Clusters or single points? Narrow that down and your on the right path. You can never go wrong with crystal jewelry! My husband has gifted me with many beautiful pieces from Callisto Jewelry on Etsy. (No I'm not getting paid to promote her shop, I just love her jewelry and it's always magical.)
5. Altar kits. For the budding or traveling witch these are essential tools in a handy kit. I can make one for you if you'd like. All sizes and budgets. Just send me a message below.
6. Candles and a book on Candle Magic. Don't forget the candle holder.
7. Smudge wands! Everyone can use smudge wands. Makes a great stocking stuffer too. They come in all different kinds of herbs, not just sage. I'm making up kits today with 7 different types in a box with crystals. Great gift for anyone!
8. Incense. Resin incense kits. Incense sticks (stocking stuffer). New to burning loose resin incense? I've got burners, incense and all kinds of loose incense in the shop and can put in a "How to" sheet for them for free.
9. A Wand. A special wand to help your witch direct energy. These can range from a few dollars to many. You can even make one out of a nifty wooden twig. Take the bark off the top 3/4 of the stick. Sand down the naked part and round off the tip. Now you can seal it with lacquer or finishing wax if you wish. Get creative. Hot glue crystals, moss, charms, ribbons. What ever seems like the right things to put on it.
10. Magical wall hangings. Dream catchers. Horse shoe. Image of their favorite deity - Hecate, The Green Man, Odin. There's so many fun home things for witches these days. Even kitchen towels.
11. Clothing with symbols or witchy sayings on them. No, they don't have to be the typical black. We love all colors. Black it typically worn for protection.
12. Divination tools: Tarot deck. Oracle deck. Pendulum. Runes.
13. Antiques. If they treasure old things, find them some. Old metal bowls make great incense burners. Old dolls. Old boxes are the best! Vintage jewelry that "feels" different then the rest. The possibilities are endless. Takes a bit of magic on your part to "feel out" the right pieces. You'll just know when you see it.
14. Tea. Yup, if your witch likes tea, it's a great gift. We know that every herb has magical powers and tea is one delicious way to use the energy of those herbs.
15. Anything you make yourself. When you make something a little part of you goes into it and that always makes it more magical.

I'm sure I've missed a bunch. If you have other things on your Magical Wish Lists add them to the comments below.

Have a Blessed Yule Season.
